Daniel Harkins is a student attending Florida State University who is from Tampa, Florida. He is enrolled in the English course "ENC2135" where he has learned how to write many distinct types of texts ranging from rhetorical analysis essays to fictional narratives. He enjoys learning about modern automobiles, traveling, and researching United States History. His interest in our nation's history is clearly evident through his wide range of works such as his latest short-story narrative, The Valiant Soldier, about a young man who is drafted into the Vietnam War in 1969 at the age of 19.  He is planning on acquiring a degree in finance from the Florida State University.
